So i have employee name, number, job codes, job description and amount in a table. so when i run a pivot table on the rows i have the employee name and then amount (gives me the pay for all codes). is it possible i get the employee number also displayed just , i.e. on the pivot i see - employee name, employee number and amount?
and if not PIVOT, is there any other way to get that display in excel? Any help would be appreciated, i dont want to copy and paste 10000 numbers.

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
yes, but to help use visualize what you want can you provide a miniworkbook with anonymized source data and and idea of what you want to see as the result?
The xl2bb add in can do that (see link below).
