Not working in Mac 2011

Hi, this code works perfectly on a PC (Excel 2010) but not on a Mac (Excel 2011)

AppActivate "GOOGLE CHROME", False​

Just trying to activate Chrome but I get the following error:

Compile Error: Wrong Number of arguments or invalid property assignment​

I have looked everywhere for a solution but can't figure out.

Appreciate any ideas you have. Thanks.

This will not work on Mac because it is a completely different operating system, and thus has different methods of opening programs.

look in the following link for an example of using shell to activate programs in OSX: http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/excel-questions/395115-appactivate-does-not-activate-application.html

Unfortunately when you build programs to be cross platform in excel you have to make a number of changes like this or when files are opened, etc. Really anything that goes beyond the scope of excel itself.
