Number format with numbers and text

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to use number formatting to do the preferred option below. I have a lot of codes and have to type the space between the text and numbers.

Any help or ideas will be appreciated.

GENERAL	PREFERRED
DSF485EC	DSF 485 EC
HYY454NW	HYY 454 NW
HXL853EC	HXL 853 EC
FPY691GP	FPY 691 GP
HBB190EC	HBB 190 EC

You cannot do that with number formatting, but you can do it with macros, if your interested.
Or you can use a formula, but that would have to be in a different cell

Could use LEFT, MID & RIGHT but another option is
=REPLACE(A2,4,3,TEXT(MID(A2,4,3)," 000 "))
