Paste Special Dificulty

I am trying to convert a column(text copied out of an object) into a row. And paste special does not work...

are you saying "paste special transpose" does not work?

how many cells are you trying to transpose?
What version of excel are you using?
What cell are you selecting to start the transpose in?

Is the text all in one cell? If so you may be able to use Data|Text To Columns with a delimiter.

It´s a column with around 100 cells.
The version I believe its the 2007.
The cell I am selecting is the A1.

select a1:a3 copy

select c1
paste special transpose

does it work?
