Hi,

I would like to paste a Word doc (apprx 2 pages) into ONE CELL in Excel. It's a lot of text, but I'm wondering if I can paste it into one cell on Excel, and keep the cell size small/standard size? I've tried the shrink to fit but it doesn't work with this much text. And I don't want to increase the size of the cell. Just wondering if this is possible or if I'll need to increase the size of the cell. I am working in Excel 2013.

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.

I'm not sure I understand the problem.

I agree that the shrink to fit won't work, but surely there's nothing to stop you simply re-setting the row height and column width to standard size after you've pasted the text in to the cell?

Thank you for your suggestion. I ended up copying and pasting everything into the formula bar then shrinking the cell to fit.
