Hello,
in want to use a formula that gives me, in percentage, the value of another cell.
For exemple if cell a1 is "2", then it will return the value within the logic 0 is 100% and 5 is 80%
could someone help please?
thanks

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Without knowing more from your scale I can only deduce that 1 = 4%. From there it should just be simple math:

Code:
=1-(A1*0.04)

I am afraid this does not seem to make much sense.
Can you try explaining again?

I have an employer that is rewarded if he achieves <5% in the loss of stock.
He receives 100% of the reward with 0% loss.
if the percentage is 5% he receives 80% of the reward.

I hope it makes more sense now.

Try this:
Code:
=IF(A1>5,0,1-(A1*0.04))
