Pivot Chart - Displaying too much data

Hi all!

I'm building myself a dashboard to track some metrics and I'm making use of Pivot Charts. However, as there's a lot of data the chart is trying to display much more data than it's visually able to.

Is there a way I can configure the chart to display no data until a slicer option is selected? Apologies if there isn't enough information, I'm happy to answer any additional questions!
