Pivot Table Calculations

All,

I have a situation where I need to calculate within a pivot table. I need to calculate a delta between two columns that are at the second level. In other words, the elements that need to be calculated are pivoted and not their own individual field.

Is there a way to do this. If it was at the top level, I understand how to do this.

Below is an example of the columns in the Pivot

Columns
YYYY QQ
Cost Type

This pivots to look like:

2018 Q1
Actual Resource Costs Planned Resource Costs

I need to create the delta between the actual and planned costs which are both cost type.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Best,

Jargon

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Wanted to bump this because it was getting buried.

If this isn't possible, that would be good to know as well.

I appreciate everybody's help.
