Does anyone know of a way I can make my pivot table filter select the day where "X" field was highest? I only want the date with the highest "X" to be selected....

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
Hi,

Have you considered using a helper column in your data range and adding it to the pivot data range. IF you have data in column e.g. A1 to A10, you can use the formula =max($A$1:$A$10)=A1 and copy that down. It will come back with TRUE where "X" field is highest and will return FALSE in all other cases.

Hopes this helps.
