Pivot Table to not Count 0s

I am using a pivot table to manipulate a large data base that is full of formulas. The formulas are "If" statements set to flag certain items in the data. They return 0 if there isnt a flag.

I only want the pivot table to count the cells that are flaged, and not to count the 0 cells. Is this possible? Hiding the zeros doesn't do anything as the cells are still counted in the pivot.
Appreciate any help.

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
use a calculated column: =column with flags <> 0
use filter on that column: >0
