I am building an inventory management system in Google sheets that will tell our ******* what to produce every day based on the numbers of sellable items we have on shelf.

Our ******* only produces certain items on certain days and thus I want to create a list that clearly shows them what to make.

I have a sheet that shows all of our items and the quantity of each that the ******* needs to produce on that particular day.

However, I would really like the sheet to only show ONLY what items need to be made that day and the quantity of each.

This is my "What2Make" sheet that has all of my calculations and produces the Quantity (in column I) to be produced of the particular Item (Column A). I have hidden the calculation columns (ColumnB through ColumnE)

Cell A1 is the indicator of what ITEMS are supposed to be produced on that particular day. Every day this number changes and so do the values in Column F and Column G based on what is currently on shelf at the particular location.

What2Make
AFG
18QTY of What 2 Make for Location AQTY of What to Make for Location B
2Item 1 (S)Don't MakeDon't Make
3Item 1 (M)
Don't MakeDon't Make
4Item 2 (S)Don't MakeDon't Make
5Item 2 (M)Don't MakeDon't Make
6Item 3 (S)12

7Item 3 (M)119
8Item 4 (S)Don't MakeDon't Make
9Item 4 (M)Don't MakeDon't Make
10Item 5 (S)155
11Item 5 (M)12

12Item 6 (S)35
13Item 6 (M)612
14Item 7 (O/S)114
15Item 8 (O/S)Don't MakeDon't Make
16Item 9 (O/S)105

The format of the list the ******* will printout is:

Production Log/Packing Slip
ABC
D
EFGHI
1
8Location ALocation B
2
Item SmallMediumO/SSmallMediumO/S
3Item 3121189
4Item 5151258
5Item 6151258
6Item 7114
7Item 9105
8
9
10

If this is not possible, I would at least like to have a list of just the items and the numbers that need to be produced. Essentially exempting any row with "Don't Make".

Whoever can give me some guidance as to how I will make this work I will be forever grateful and you will be a life saver!

Thank you and best of luck,
Parker
