Power Query Locked Issue

Hi All you lovely people

I hope you guys are well

Im hoping someone can help me here. I have an excel workbook that has a power query linking to a few databases to pull back data

Now it works fine and is all good but what ive noticed today is that on 1 of the databases it gets data from, it leaves that database open (locked file)

Like i say it pulls back fine but causes issues because i cant update the actual database because of this locked file

I can delete it but this should not be the case and has never happened before

Can someone advise why this is happening and how to resolve this

Is there any code i can have that deletes this locked access db file but before that id like to understand why this is happening

The database has been placed in a state by user ‘Admin’ on machine… that prevents it from being opened or locked
