PowerPivot similar software

Hey guys, i usually work with a lot of data both in quantity and file size. Yet sometimes i have to make a LOT of calculations in order to get result. Like, one time i had a Pivot from PowerPivot data that had around 1 million calculations. So i was wondering if you knew software, similar to POwerPivot, that allows fast columnar calculations.

Thanks, but Minitab is better used for statistical calculations. The calculations i'm aiming for are more business related. For most examples, Excel and PowerPivot get the job done. As general knowledge, i'm interested in knowing related software so i can keep myself up to date.
