Print "If" Function

Is there a print "if" function that would recognize text values and print the page instead of manually changing the page break each time.

Background : I am creating a generic template for journal entries and trying to include additional notes as needed. I have added an outlined box to include the notes as needed - but if nothing is required then I do not want to print an empty notes box. My goal is to create a seemless transition between entering data and moving on to another task instead of manually tweaking and adjusting print options.

Any help is much appreciated and please do not hesitate to ask for more info and better clarification if needed.

Thanks,
