Hi everyone,

First of all, i would like to thank Mrexcel.com forum for their help in such matters and i hope that we continue to support this type of initiative that participates to enhance our skills.
As a new member, i was interest by the python language and i was questioning a friend about the opportunities of learning such language ? What is the relationship between excel and python , can i use it in my career of financial modelling ?

Thanks guys.

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
You can use Python and there are some articles saying so.
You can also use the new MS scripting language which MS hope will replace VBA

Here's a reality pill though: If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire The VBA-Team...
Here and in many other forums, there are so many people who have experience in VBA regarding excel.

If you want to solve the problem with Python or MS script, and if you post a question, you might be waiting quite a bit longer for help.
