Range(A4).select not working

Hi, I opened a .txt file using basic macro code in excel. Then I want to select particular cell then copy that...but when I use range(A4).select code I'm getting error.. ..pls help...

Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.

Range("A4").Select


Hi, thanks for quick reply...still its not working.

i used to open .txt file in excel using below code and its successful.

Workbooks.Open ReadOnly:=False, Filename:=ZW47_Path & "" & ZW47_file

after opening. i used below code to select range
Range("A4").Select......its not working...pls help me

ActiveSheet.Range("A4").Select

Or

Application.Goto ActiveWorkbook.Sheets("Sheet1").Range("A4")

change sheet name as needed ...

If not working please add the full code
