I have a workbook with multiple queries and pivot tables. When I select DATA > Refresh All it usually works thru it without an issue. But, from time to time I get an error message. It doesn't identify the query or pivot that broke though. Is there a way I can look to see in what order Excel is refreshing the data? And, when the error occurs is it safe to assume that any other queries and pivots in line behind the break will not run? If the answer is complicated I would love a link to a tutorial or article. Thank you for looking.

Are you able to provide a screenshot of the error you are receiving?
Nope. Of course it hasn't happened since i posted the question... If it does happen again I will screenshot it. But, is there a way to look at what order data is refreshed?

Not unless you have it written in VBA to refresh in specific order. Otherwise, your Excel session will decide which route it wants to take with the refresh...which could be different each time.
