Hello! I am trying to transfer a number with superscript text after it (i.e. 1st with 'st' in superscript) from one worksheet to another using VLOOKUP. I haven't had any success in retaining the formatting. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand

You cannot have part of the text returned by a formula formatted differently than the rest of the text. The only way to do what you want would be to use VBA event code and have the code do all the work that your formula is now doing. If you want to pursue this route, you will have to tell us the cells the formula is in, what the formula is and the exact format you want for the output cells.
