Returning characters in a string between square brackets

I download data from our payroll and one of the cells contains the employee name and payroll number in the following format:

Smith, Alan [10]
Taylor, Annabel [184]
Sutton, Doug [7453]

Using an Excel formula, how do I extract the values between the square brackets?

=SUBSTITUTE(MID(A2,FIND("[",A2)+1,100),"]","")+0
