My desired result is the green colored column. Running total as it were.

If I take out the Document Forecast Type and Document number columns, I can use the natural running total option for the Combination Qty field as follows:

I figured there should be someway to use DAX to achieve the same results, while keeping the Document Forecast Type and Number columns in the report. But I am unable to achieve that result.

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
I tried various iterations of that theme, but here is the general result using this formula:

=CALCULATE(SUM('INVENTORY DETAILS'[Inventory Line Inventory Quantity])+SUM('INVENTORY DETAILS'[Inventory Line Purchase Order Open Quantity])+SUM('INVENTORY DETAILS'[Inventory Line Sales Order Open Quantity]),FILTER(ALL('Calendar - Forecast Date'),'Calendar - Forecast Date'[Forecast Date]<=LASTDATE('Calendar - Forecast Date'[Forecast Date])))

I have a date dimension in this model. And the model is connected to a true data warehouse start schema.

I have tried putting the date to the right of the the document number, which allows me to 'hide' all of the separate date iterations, but the column result is the same.
