Good afternoon!

I am hoping someone can help; I update a website for a state soccer league and am looking for a way to get standings to update automatically when I enter in the final score of that game. I find that having to update 2 different areas on the web site leaves a LOT of room for error.

My goal:

Have schedule, scores and standings on one spreadsheet

This is my criteria:

There are 2 divisions, each have about 8-10 teams
Each win = 2 pts
Each Tie = 1 pt
Each Loss = 0 pts

I have a "standings" table for each division; listed are:
Team, wins, losses, ties, goals for, goals against and points. standings auto sorted by most points earned. (1 winner in each division)
All areas will be updated based on the score entered on the schedule (I placed and image at the end of this post so you can at least see what I would like it to lay out.)

In short: I want the "standings" for each division to update themselves.

I was working off of an old spreadsheet used for UEFA but it is HUGE and may be too much for what I am looking for. If needed I can upload what I have if anyone would like to take a peek at it. Well, at least I think I can??

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi,
what version of excel are you using.
where would be the data to fill the F-A?
why would team 1 score 4 points with one (1) win (worth 2 points) and one (1) draw (worth 1 point) shouldn't this be 3 points instead?

Your post mentions a Web Site, but the image appears to be a Excel Spreadsheet. Are you looking for some help to automate the Spreadshet Division totals and you will handle the Web posting seperatly?

Are Macros an option for you to use to solve this issue?
