Hello Excel Legends,

I have been working trying to build a code to do the following but I cant get it to work and i'm not sure if it is even possible.

Here is what i was thinking.

In Sheet 1 (RTW) is a form with a reference number at the top (E3) eg: 07/04 - this number is dynamic and is changed by the user.

1. I was hoping that the reference number would then search the Sheet 2 (DB) locate the corresponding row for reference number eg 07/04.
2. Once the row is located data from sheet 1 could be extracted from particular cells and pasted at the end of the corresponding row.

In a nutshell, the form inputs extra data not captured on the original DB and this further information is dependent on the reference number.

Happy to email a excel workbook to assist with understanding the moving parts.

Hope you can help me.
Thanks
AJK
