Hey all,

I am looking to select a column range up until the character "-" is encountered.
The array is C8 to C17.

I tried the following:
=OFFSET(C8, 0, 0, MATCH("-", C8:C17, 1)-1, 1)

But wasn't quite working as expected.
Any help would be much appreciated

Cheers

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Edit:

I'm trying to do this in VBA.
The range looks like this:
1
2
3
4
5
6
7
-
-
-

And I want to copy the range from 1 to 7. But it's dynamic, another time the range could be;
1
2
3
4
-
-
