Hello all,

Is there a way to have the format of a cell set to display degrees? I have the formula
Code:
= A12
in the cell, but I want the number to appear with the degree symbol.

Any possible way to do this?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
select the cell and then Go to Cell Format there Custom format paste below format

0"°"

or want to use in formula then try below formula

=A12&"°"

Hi Andrew,

Does this work for you?...

=A12&CHAR(176)

OR

=A12&" "&CHAR(176)

I hope that helps.
