Sizing a shape

When I am re-sizing a shape using the format shape menu it comes up in inches. How can I get it to show in centimeters?

I'll send you my version of Excel, because my sizes are in cms but I would prefer inches!!!

Actually, I think it is a default setting somewhere, and if you are on a corporate build like I am, I believe it is a hidden property.
