Social Security Numbers without dashes

Excel Facts

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
If your cells are formatted as General and you see the dashes, then the SSNs are text strings.
In this case, formatting would not work -- try using the following formula:

=TEXT(SUBSTITUTE(A1,"-",""),"000000000")

Thanks this works when I reference the cell. How can I incorporate the existing formula =IFERROR(INDEX(DTS_SSN,(MATCH(TASS_DTS_ID,DTS_ID,0))),"") with
=TEXT(SUBSTITUTE(A1,"-",""),"000000000")
