Hello! I am new to this forum and this is my first thread. Please feel free to correct me if I'm doing something wrong here.

I am wondering how to sort a range of data by its absolute value without creating a new column for it. I've read a few threads on this issue but it didn't help me too much.

For example:
1
-10
5
8
-6

I want to sort it by its absolute value like this:
-10
8
-6
5
1

Is there a way to do this without creating a new column to ABS() the values first? I tried a combination of RANK(ABS()) but it didnt work. Maybe a simple vba code to use as a keyboard shortcut perhaps?

Appreciate any insight you guys have!
