I have cells which contain date and time (29/02/2012 11:12:40)

I need the date to remain and the time to be removed and placed in an adjacent cell

Anyone know of a quick method to do this?

Excel Facts

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Try like this

Sheet3

*ABC
129/02/2012 11:1229/02/201211:12:40

<colgroup><col style="font-weight:bold; width:30px; "><col style="width:134px;"><col style="width:100px;"><col style="width:92px;"></colgroup><tbody>
</tbody>

Spreadsheet Formulas
CellFormula
B1=INT(A1)
C1=MOD(A1,1)

<tbody>
</tbody>

<tbody>
</tbody>

Excel tables to the web >> Excel Jeanie HTML 4

Thanks.

The date column works fine but the time appears as 01/01/1900
