Hello:
Is there a way to force the Status Bar in the lower right to display its calculations in a format other than what's selected?

Situation:
1. I select a range (55.689, 52.512, 21.788) while the status bar is on SUM
2. The sum (129.989) is displayed
3. BUT I when the above numbers are formatted to 1 decimal (55.7, 52.5, 21.8), the Status Bar uses the same formatting (130.0)

Any way to make it display the full 129.989 or more (129.989000)?

I am working in a heavily-formatted workbook (mostly "#,##0.0", highlighting and the like, so I am attempting to avoid re-formatting all of the numbers I need to check).

[Excel 2003]

Thanks in advance
