Stuck with runtime 1004

No matter what i do i keep getting runtime error 1004.

ElseIf Cells(i_row, zone_Bend).Value = "B End" Then

ElseIf Cells(i_row, zone_Bend).Value = "Both Ends" Then

Range("M" & i_row).Select
ActiveCell.Interior.ColorIndex = 2
End If

I get the error on the below line:

ActiveCell.Interior.ColorIndex = 2

I tries Cells and Range and also sheets(), but still get the error on that line.
I replaced row and column referances with fixed numbers but still get the error.

Solved, thanks. Sheet was getting locked from another event, so i disabled events here.
