Subtotal for Columns

The subtotal function can be set to ignore hidden rows. Is there a similar function that can be set to ignore hidden columns?

the subtotal function can ignore hidden cells. it makes no difference whether it is rows or columns.

mea culpa; it also ignores hidden columns in 2007

it will proabably require a udf which I do not know how to write
