Could anyone help me out with this problem please? I'm not sure it's solvable.
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o> </o>
I have two columns of original numbers, and three columns of calculated numbers.<o></o>
<o> </o>
The first two calculated columns are the original columns, multiplied by percentage split (say, first column @90%, second @10%), with the third column being the sum of these two, multiplied by a further, independent percentage (say, 90% again).<o></o>
<o> </o>
I want to be able to create a table where columns A and B are various percentage splits in increments of 10 (90/10, 80/20, 70/30…), and row 1 is the independent factor (100%, 90%, 80%), with the SUMIF(>0) of the results displayed in the appropriate vector in the table.
My problem is trying to have the table do the calculations without actually performing them in the spreadsheet elsewhere - it sounds silly, I know, but I wonder if it may be possible...
<o> </o>
I appreciate I never actually bring anything to the table on this site and don’t know any of you well enough to buy you a beer, but any help on this problem whatsoever would be very gratefully received!<o></o>
