Three dimentional tables & validations using Excel

Hello

I have learned to do the 2 dimensional validations in Excel using tables and data validation. Is there a way you can make it 3 dimensional? I need a way of representing resources vs. features vs. schedule and I hate to use MS Project

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
