Dear sir,

Here i want to maintain the attendance from time keeping software,
My office time is 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and we have 15 min of grace limit, but if somebody comes after 10:15 AM then I need to remark as a half day,

Please suggest me which formula will be use.

Hi,

How is your worksheet setup i.e. Are you manually inputting 'Start Time'? When you say remark as a half day, is there a cell next to the start time that shows this?

Example of what you could do;
- Assuming Cell A1 shows when the office time starts (in your case 10:00)
- Assuming Cell B1 shows when the office time ends (in your case 18:30)
- Assuming Cell A4 is where someone's shift actually starts
- Assuming Cell B4 is where someone's shift actually ends

Then you could use this formula in Cell C4;
=IF(A4-A2>TIME(0,15,0),"Half Day","Full Day")

You can then adjust the 'cell reference' within this formula as you need to.

If this isn't what you're after or if the layout of your worksheet isn't as I've assumed, then give a bit more detail around the layout of your worksheet and I may be able to adjust this formula for you.
