Hi,

I have a data set in Excel that is 416 columns by 5433 rows. I want to swap the columns and rows but cannot do this using the transpose function as an error message stating that the copy and paste areas are different sizes keeps coming up.

So what I have is:

Sample 1 Sample 2 (to sample 415)
Group 1 12 27
Group 2 345 100
Group 3 0 34
(down to group 5432)

What I want is:

Group 1 Group 2 Group 3
Sample 1 12 345 0
Sample 2 27 100 34

Can anyone help?

Thanks

After you copy only the data, try pasting/transpose into a new single blank cell.
