Hi,

Just upgraded to 2013 and Windows 8 ... first impressions v nice.

But I could really do with turning off the swipe feature on some of my spreadsheets.

Any ideas?

Grateful,

Simon

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for the quick reply.

I had a quick read, found the obvious looking button on the QAT that i had previously ignored :) and thought great I'll record a macro and see what happens.

Nothing happens :(

I'm still looking or a solution but that thanks again for the article it was still helpful.

I did neglect to mention I needed to control this with VBA as it's for client spreadsheets, so I don't want them swiping to the outer reaches of column XFD!

Any other ideas?

Thanks again,

Simon

Hi again,

When turning on worksheet protection this does offer some level of 'swipe restriction' as the worksheet returns to top left position once the swipe movement halts.

Great resource btw finally registered!

Regards,

Simon
