Hope you can help me convert an equation in to excel formula.

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Some questions for you:
Do you expect to be using those exact values every time, or are you looking to have those values (EX: 60/376 and 15/376) inputted into different cells and then the formula calcs out the solution?
Are you interested in a VBA solution instead of a formula?

Here a solution using a formula (cell C8, just insert "=" sign)
Update any values in the Value column and the Solution cell will update with a new answer.

@akmatz Please post the actual formula (using the xls tags) rather than forcing people to retype it. Thanks
