This title was really hard to come up with and doesn't really work... but oh well. Hopefully someone sees this.

I have three columns. One is invoice numbers, one is company name, one is paid on time Y/N. Because for this particular report I care about the company, not the invoice specifically, I would like a macro that will make ALL the invoices tied to the account say N if any of their invoices have a N in it.

I thought about some countif, then, filtering, blah blah, nothing worked... long story short... I am totally stumped....

Re: making results uniform by separate value VBA

2 things are the companies all together

eg
freds shop
freds shop
freds shop

or are the invoices numerical and the companies spread

second thing if you make them all N what happens when the last one is paid it will still say N against them all because you have turned the paid ones to not paid!

The data in this sheet isn't being used to judge whether invoices were paid on time or not. Hence why I need the results uniform.
However the results get changed everyday, which is why it can't be done once and forgotten.

And the values are clustered together, but I haven't been able to use that to my advantage yet.
