Hi there,

I'm having trouble with creating a formula and hoping someone may be able to help me please:biggrin:

I have 2 pivot tables. I want to compare the values in the 2nd table against the 1st table and highlight the differences. The layout of each pivot table is exactly the same; for each one I have the field 'Provider ID' in the Row Labels box and 'Month' in the Columns label box. I then have a sum of 'Attendances' in the 'Values' box.

I want to lookup against the 'Provider ID' and then, for each month going across, apply a formula which highlights any values which are different (using a conditional format) in the 2nd table than the value for the same Provider and Month in the 1st.

Can anybody help?

Many thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
I have tried a combination of IF / VLOOKUP but doesn't seem to be working. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
