I would like to enter a formula in cell J4 of sheet2 that looks at G2:G3179 in sheet1 and finds the # "1090000" and then pulls the value associated with this # located in column M of sheet2 in the same row where "1090000" is found.

I thank you in advance for your help.

Excel Facts

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
Hi,

=VLOOKUP(1090000,Sheet2!G2:M3179,7,0)

If the Lookup Value (1090000) is Text, put quotes around it -> "1090000"

Or you can use a Cell reference.
