Hello All,

I have roughly 20 lists in my workbook. Examples: "2FootLamps" "3FootLamps" "4FootLamps"

List Name "2FootLamps" has the following values: 1L2 - 2L2 - 3L2 - 4L2

I would like to do the following:

(A1) is my reference cell and will contain a validation of all the list names ("2FootLamps" "3FootLamps" "4FootLamps")

(B1) will reference (A1) and depending upon which list name is referenced, it will give me the validation list associated with that name

SO

if A1 contains "2FootLamps", THEN B1 will offer a drop-down list of all the values in "2FootLamps" which would be (1L2,2L2,3L2,4L2)

possible? any help is appreciated!!

Use Data, What-If Analysis, Goal Seek to find the correct input cell value to reach a desired result
actually very easy. =INDIRECT (input into the list option in data validation).
