VBA cannot find file in path

Hi I am trying to copy a folder from and paste it into another folder which I have created on my desktop. The creation of the folder went succesfully but copying doesn't seem to work for some reason. It keep getting the error that the filename cannot be found although the pathname is correct. Thanks

Is it possible you are missing the file name at the end?

             "C:\Users\Dave\Downloads\DestinationFolder\OriginalWorkbook.xlsm"

Hi Dave

I have named the file 'Oefen_excel.xls' (practice excel in Dutch ) to keep it simple. It is a normal excel document.
For some reason vba keeps saying that the document can not be found although the pathname is correct.
I have created a folder with the following path name: "C:\Users\muhar\Desktop\fso" and this doesn't create an issue but "C:\Users\muhar\Desktop\varia\Automation\VBA Script\Oefen_excel.xls" above does.
Now I am kind of stuck....

I have also tried without the xls extension but keep getting the same error.

It will require an extension, I was just curious if the file was an xlsx or xlsm extension

I tried with the xlsx extension and now it works!!!
Many thanks for this as I have lost a couple of hours trying other things to solve this.
