Hi all,

I'm working on transferring data from one workbook to another, easy enough - but does anyone have any idea on how to transfer data and place into a name range? (i'm looking to pull string from input box which specifies the name range)

thanks

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Assign the selected value in the Input Box to a variable: sNamedRange
then
Copy the data to
Workbooks("NewWorkbook").Worksheets("SheetInNewWorkbook").Range(sNamedRange).Cells(1,1)
