VBA to reposition data labels on a bubble chart so they do not overlap

Hello Mr. Excel,

I'm new to the forum and a relative VBA novice. I have automated the production and export to .png file of multiple bubble charts based on a dynamic SharePoint list. These charts can then be lifted into Access to overcome the problem with the dated chart engine.

My issue is that the bubble charts contain data which in some cases can be identical, and in other cases very similar.

I have re-sized the graph to meet the reporting requirements and automated the application of a data label from a 4th dimension.

My next task – and this is where I need help – is to create some VBA code that positions the data labels in order that they do not overlap.

I’ve searched far and wide for an answer and as yet have drawn a blank.

If anyone out there can help I would really appreciate your efforts.

Many thanks,
Juro.
