vlook up one value and return multiple values

Hello,

My original table contains a list of Employee ID's and their related tasks (see table 1).
Each employee has more than one row in the table.

I would like to summarize the table to show the tasks that the employee
has completed based on employee id (see table 2)

When I use the vlookup function only the first instance appears.

Does anyone have any suggestion of how I can accomplish this?

That particular set up is difficult to establish vis formulas.

VBA might be better suited.

A pivot table could generate a similar table, but there would be extra columns, as seen in the below.
