Hi Guys,

Hope you can help on this one. I have data in a pivot table where in the row headings I have "Name" and then "TOP 5 CAT 1", Column headings are "Months".

What I am needing to do is use some kind of VLOOKUP to look for the name and then return the value 1 column to the right and 1 row down.

I have tried OFFSETTING but it doesn't appear to work.

Any ideas?

Cheers in advance

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
Try using INDEX and MATCH to find the value you need, eg.

=INDEX(A:B,match(testname,A:A)+1,2)
