I’m editing an excel file which uses the COUNTIF function. I understand the syntax of COUNTIF ie, =COUNTIF(range, criteria) but I don’t understand a statement someone has used for the criteria which is “=”&syYes somewhere else they’ve used “=”&syNo<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
<o></o>
For example a cell might have <o></o>
<o></o>
=COUNTIF(D12:AY12,”=”&syYes)+COUNTIF(D12:AY12,”=”&syNo)<o></o>
<o></o>
If anyone's able to shed some light it’d be very much appreciated
