What is the correct folder in Win 11 to store add-ins such as xl2bb?

I don't recall having to do that on my old Win10 PC.
I have to with my Win 10 if the file containing macros has been downloaded from the net or from an outside email

I don't know if it is. Should it be? How can I tell?
Doesn't have to be (but normally is), it is just you don't have to unblock a file or enable macros if it is in a Trusted Location.

Developer tab - Security - Trusted locations. There you will find a list of any trusted locations set up.
