I have a function checking if a certain value is present in a certain column

how then do i get Excel to output which cell the value was found in?

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Hi, please can you post the function you are using? It's not clear from your post if you are using a VBA and/or formula-based function.

Hi and welcome to the board

What is the function that you are using? Are you using VBA or a native function used in the worksheet?

One possible way?

Find the row reference of "test" in column A:
=MATCH("Test",A:A,0)

To return the cell address:
=ADDRESS(MATCH("Test,A:A,0),1)
