Version: 2007

Need to find a replace the following:
Find '=+'
Replace =+'

It is not finding the formula (written as text).
I am trying to replace the single quote with nothing so it becomes a formula again.

I thought the tilda placed before it would help find it but that didnt' work.
Of course F1 was useless in this version.
I remember there was some special character in v2003 but can't find it in v2007 help.

Can someone please help with this?

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
Select the column, Data > Text to columns, select Delimited, clear all delimiters, Finish.

Thanks. That works for one column at a time.

However, I have 36 columns and 30 tabs.

Any way to group and mass replace with a tilda?

You can select the range of interest, and in the VBE Immediate window enter

Code:
Selection.Value = Selection.Formula

You have to press Enter in the Immediate window to execute the line.

Uhh sounds great but where do I find and how do I use the VBE Immediate window?
Sorry for being such a non VB user.

The apostrophe has special meaning to Excel, so the Replace command cannot be made to see it. I think you will need a macro to handle your problem, but that means you will need to provide more details for us.

1) Your 30 tabs... is that all the tabs in your workbook? If not, are they always arranged contiguously next to each other? If so, what are the names of the first and last tab in the group you want to process?

2) Are the columns on each of your tabs that need to be converted always the same columns. If so, what are their letters? If not, you will need to list their letters for each tab for us.

Select the range of interest

Do Alt+F11 to open the Visual Basic Editor

If you don't see a window labeled Immediate, do Ctrl+G

Proceed as previously described.
